This lecture on audience helps students see what an audience centered approach is, what are its advantages and disadvantages, and what are the broader implications of the social nature of discourse.  You may want to introduce the students to the audience-centered approach yourself (the first 15 minutes), but you may want to use the remaining sections, which develop important theoretical concepts which will follow us through the course (scopus, stasis, etc.)
