University officials and friends gathered on the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis campus on Tuesday, November 19 and dedicated the new Science and Engineering Laboratory Building (SELB). The SELB is the first non-medical building to be built on campus in 20 years. Tuesday's afternoon ceremony was held at 3 p.m. inside the IUPUI Campus Center Theater and featured a keynote address by John C. Lechleiter Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Eli Lilly and Company.
