How do you personally relate to the Hamilton characters?

IU junior Nate Carey, Hamiltunes performer, shares how he personally relates to the Hamilton characters.

“Hamiltunes”, a sing-along rendition of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s 2015 musical “Hamilton: An American Musical”, is the product of a recent collaboration between students from IU’s Jacobs School of Music and the IU Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance.

Showcasing the most popular tunes from “Hamilton”, the show has made stops this year at the Brown County Playhouse, Salem Middle School, and other venues. This year, the IU Center for Rural Engagment joined the Hamiltunes tour project to help reach new audiences in southern Indiana.
