Fake News and Critical Thinking

Teaching students how to quickly tell the difference between “fake news” and real news is essential for the future of our democracy.  The new “Check, Please!” initiative has a series of short and easy lessons that teach students quick ways to find the facts. Checklist approaches are long and students don’t use them; this approach works!  Come and see: you too may learn a trick or two!
