Elizabeth Schoettle, LIS Industry Speaker Series

Elizabeth Schoettle has more than 25 years of professional experience in libraries, the last 20 in management positions. Throughout her library career she has worked in a variety of libraries from a special library at the Indianapolis Star/News to public libraries of various sizes and zip codes to the Indiana State Library. One unique thing Elizabeth did as the Director of the Beech Grove Public Library (BGPL) was help to facilitate the BGPL’s merger with the Indianapolis Public Library. The merger made the BGPL a branch of the Indianapolis Public Library, which gave Beech Grove residents access to many more resources.
