Cybil Nielsen, MBA, CNMT, NMTCB(RS) FSNMMI-TS is the Program Director for the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program and Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiologic and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She earned her master’s degree in Business Administration at Indiana Wesleyan University. Ms. Nielsen is certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology and Radiation Safety. She has been an active member in the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists among many others. She currently holds the office of President of CCSNMMI-TS and is a site visitor for the Joint Review Committee for Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Ms. Nielsen has authored numerous publications and has been an invited speaker for nearly 60 presentations. Her recent awards and honors include, Best Educator’s Forum Article—Journal of Nuclear Medicine Technology “An Evaluation of Qualities of Nuclear Medicine Technology Programs and Graduates Leading to Employability”, Presidential Distinguished Service Award—Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging—Technologist Section, and Outstanding Educator—Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging—Technologist Section.
Valerie Echeverria, MS, RT (R)(M), RDMS, RVT, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiologic and Imaging Sciences and Ultrasound Clinical Coordinator for Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She earned her master’s degree in Continuing Adult Education from Indiana University and is certified in Radiography, Mammography, Obstetric and Gynecologic Diagnostic Sonography, Abdominal Diagnostic Sonography, and Vascular Technology. Ms. Echeverria has been an invited speaker at multiple professional conferences and a collaborator on several research projects. She is a member in good standing in multiple educational and professional societies and currently serves on the Nominating Committee of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
