Dr. Molly Duman Scheel is the Navari Family Professor in the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at the IU School of Medicine in South Bend and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and at the Eck Institute for Global Health at the University of Notre Dame. She is trained in developmental genetics and her lab focuses on mosquito development and various methods of mosquito control. This work has been funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, US Department of Defense and the National Institutes of Health.
