Linda Cox, R.T. (R), (MR), (CT), is the Program Director of Medical Imaging Technology at Indiana University-School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. She began her career in the Medical Imaging field over 40 years ago and holds credentials in Radiography, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Ms. Cox joined Indiana University as educator in 1987 where she currently holds a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiologic Sciences faculty appointment. She received multiple teaching and professional honors and awards including the Kenneth R. Gottesfeld Award for her outstanding paper, which was published in the Journal of Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, ISRT Technologist of the Year in 2005, and IU Trustees Teaching Award in 2020. Ms. Cox has been an exam reviewer for the Indiana State Board of Health and a manuscript reviewer for several publishers. She has been an invited speaker for numerous conferences in both the educational and medical imaging disciplines.
