Erin Rooney, Library Director of Samuels Public Library has been employed at the Library since 2015. She is a graduate of James Madison University and received her Masters of Library Science Degree from the University of North Texas. Erin is a dedicated and professional librarian who has experience in all departments of Library service. Ms. Rooney is a resident of Front Royal, VA and is passionate about the library profession, working with the public, and providing excellent customer service. She has a history of successful programs and community-driven projects offered at Samuels. She strongly believes in the mission and the future of the Library and looks forward to continuing the standard of excellence established by the staff and her predecessor.
