Finding IT Support for Your Research Data Needs

This webinar provided an overview of available IT resources at Indiana University to support researchers in managing their data and computing needs. Led by experts from UITS Research Technologies, the session covered a range of services, including a quick introduction to basic resources, including the Help Desk, IUWare, ServiceNow Knowledge Base, and UITS IT Training.
Panelists from UITS Research Technologies introduced tools for research database support, data storage, and high-performance computing (HPC), such as the Research Database Complex (RDC), Scholarly Data Share (SDS), and Big Red 200. Attendees learned about training opportunities, office hours, and consultation services to help navigate IU’s IT ecosystem. Lastly, presenters provided guidance on finding individualized IT support through faculty consultations and specialized events.
