Gabriele (Gabi) Hysong, MLS (she/her)

Hysong holds an undergrad degree in public health with a concentration in environmental science. At the age of 50, she changed careers, leaving a position as a Safety & Compliance manager for a Hazardous Waste Transporter and Disposal company, sold her dream house and decided to become a librarian. “One of the best decisions I ever made!” Hysong has worked as an information science professional for Rolls-Royce Corporation for over 16 years. She earned her MLS from IUPUI and is the Indiana Chapter SLA president.
Marydee Ojala, MLS

Information Today, Inc.
Ojala is the Editor-in-Chief of Online Searcher magazine, which is published by Information Today, Inc; writes a column on business research; and is program planner for a number of tech-related conferences, She earned her MLS at the University of Pittsburgh, began her professional career as a corporate librarian at BankAmerica in San Francisco, and joined SLA while in grad school in 1976. She is the Indiana Chapter SLA treasurer.

Hullinger has been employed as a librarian for 20 years. She started out at her public library shelving books. For 15 years she was in public libraries ending her time as a Youth Services Librarian. After completing her MLIS she completed a one-year fellowship in the DC area with the Army Technical Library. Hullinger has worked for Zimmer Biomet for 5 years as of this May as a solo librarian. She earned her MLIS from The University of Southern Mississippi and holds a BA in history.
