The first panel of the 2017 International Symposium on Sustainable Development was on the topic "What Causes People to Move." It featured Sherizaan Minwalla, of the International Human Rights Law Clinic at American University; Dr. Frances Trix, Professor Emerita at Indiana University; and Dr. Timothy Waters, Van Nolan Faculty Fellow at Indiana University's Maurer School of Law. The panel was moderated by Dr. James Farmer of the IU School of Public Health.
