Symposium on Sustainable Development Series

Held in partnership with Indiana University's Center for the Study of Global Change, Center for the Study of the Middle East, East Asian Studies Center, Inner Asian & Uralic National Resource Center, and the Russian & Eastern European Institute; the International Symposium on Sustainable Development series explores theoretical and practical questions related to sustainable development and globalization. Each year, an annual symposium is held to bring together experts and practitioners in the year's theme for a day of discussion, collaboration, and debate. Policy briefs and papers also accompany each symposium and can be found the IU CIBER website at http://go.iu.edu/Mvh. 

In 2016 the theme was Energy, and in 2017 the theme was Human Migration.
