2011 Winter Commencement

IU President Michael A. McRobbie presided over the Bloomington campus Winter Commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 17. More than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students who completed their degrees during September and October were eligible to participate in the ceremony this year. The student procession began at 9:15 a.m. and the official ceremony got underway at 10 a.m.

This year's Winter Commencement speaker was The Hon. Randall T. Shepard, chief justice of the Indiana Supreme Court and an Indiana University alumnus.
