The October Faculty and Staff Town Hall hosted by Chancellor Nasser H. Paydar featured IUPUI leaders including IUPUI Police Chief Doug Johnson, who provided an update regarding measures to promote safety and security on campus.
In addition to offering an update regarding IUPUI's current mitigation testing results and other matters, Chancellor Paydar shared a video of Innovation Hall, the newest building on campus, and welcomed reports from Executive Vice Chancellor Kathy Johnson and Vice Chancellor Weldy. EVC Johnson shared a update on the proposed modifications to promotion and tenure and merit review guidelines that recognize work focused on diversity and inclusion, and VC Weldy provided an update on campus plans surrounding the upcoming national election. Following these updates and reports, colleagues joined Chancellor Paydar in fielding questions from the group of nearly 1,000 faculty and staff members in attendance.
