Democracy is the rule of the people. But what if the
people have little clue what they’re doing? Democracy
incentivizes voters to be biased, uninformed, and
irrational, which leads to voters supporting bad
candidates who in turn push bad policies. This talk asks:
Are there alternative ways to choose leaders that can
overcome the problems voters create?
