This workshop is a follow-up for IU faculty, staff, and students to Intro to Deep Learning taught by UITS Research Technologies (RT). Attendees will take a deeper dive into some problems that can be addressed with Deep Learning on Big Red 200.
These topics include multi-GPU neural net training, custom GPU programming, and and fine-tuning a large language model (LLM). These specific topics will illustrate general techniques that are widely applicable.
No prior knowledge of these techniques is assumed. Knowledge of Unix and Python is needed for the hands-on exercises
