Two Tip Tuesday 20 - Google Meet as Zoom Back-up

On the first day of the Fall 2020 semester, we experienced serious Zoom frustrations.

And that was a good reminder that we should be prepared with back-up videoconferencing options in case of future outages. Fortunately, there are two UITS-recommended, IU-licensed products we already have access to which also provide videoconferencing and screen sharing. While Zoom remains the preferred solution (easiest-to-learn and navigate), Google Meet is the recommended Plan B, with Microsoft Teams representing Plan C. But that Microsoft Teams option is definitely a distant Plan C.
