The second annual America’s Role in the World Conference will address a wide-range of pressing challenges facing our new administration, such as global health, nuclear proliferation, international trade, cyber terrorism, and how to adapt international institutions to meet the needs of the present century.
This year’s conference aims to reflect the tradition of bi-partisan support for American engagement in the world, embodied by the conference co-conveners, Congressman Lee Hamilton and Senator Richard Lugar. It will bring together scholars, practitioners, national and regional journalists, business leaders, and esteemed officials from both political parties to identify and debate issues of critical importance to the country from a variety of perspectives.
