The Doing Business in and with Sub-Saharan Africa conference provided practical knowledge to businesses in Indiana that aspire to do business in and with emerging markets in Africa. The mid-morning panel included representatives from select African governments to discuss opportunities and challenges of doing business in Africa. Representatives were Shakira Motan, Trade Commissioner, South African Consulate General; Eliot Pence, Director, McLarty Associates; Patricia Secke, Founder and President, Africa Femmes Performantes, Inc. The panel was moderated by Una Osili, Director of Research, Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.
