Raising the heat on foreign policy
The eighth annual America’s Role in the World conference (ARW8) will examine pressing global challenges to foreign policy, including the climate crisis, the future of Iran, human rights, and sustainable development. Panel discussions will convene scholars, diplomats, activists, journalists, and non-profit and government leaders.
Several panels will focus on climate change and its impacts on climate-vulnerable populations. We will hear from journalists and regional experts on Iran's anti-regime protests and implications for foreign policy. One year after Russia's attack on Ukraine, we will examine the war’s effect on domestic politics, economics, and society, from Ukrainian and global perspectives.
