Teaching online, especially for the first time, is wrought with many challenges. In particular, the modes of interaction are different than in a face2face class, and can become considerably more time consuming without some structure and design. This session focuses on aspects of time management for online instruction including: contemporary pressures on faculty time, spending your time most efficiently, and effective communicative practices in an online environment.
