CDPI Session 3B: Study Abode: World101 Brings International Education to Your Living Room

Experiencing a pandemic has heightened many individuals global awareness. While many issues span the globe, few do with as much urgency as those we face today. Conversely, the world is far less physically accessible than it has been in the recent past. At IUPUI, we have many internationally-focused professionals aiming to bring global awareness and education to our students. A group of professionals formed around the use of a unique and  free platform, World 101. Through this platform, students can engage in global issues and consider diverse perspectives of approach. They can also learn about the cultural similarities and differences of people from other parts of the globe. In this group, we taught each other about the unique implementation strategies we have utilized to help our students continue being global citizens while also further developing the NACE Career Competency of Global and Intercultural Fluency.
