Using Activity Theory to Design Technology-Based Activities For Any Classroom
Abstract:
Many of the active-learning approaches we use are specifically designed for active-learning spaces, but these spaces aren’t always available when we need them. Technology-based activities can be even more of a struggle to incorporate into a variety of classroom spaces. This webinar will use several digital-history activities, including mapping and network analysis, as examples of using activity theory to reshape lesson plans for classrooms with and without robust technology and active-learning design.
