Enterprise Web Technical Services, Web Tech for short provides central web hosting services. There are three main hosting environments. Linux Hosting Environment, LHE, Windows Hosting Environment, WHE, also known as Web Host, and Web Content Management System, WCMS. First Linux Environment includes web server for departmental content and pages which provides individual sites for professional research instructional and academic content. These are [inaudible] environments. Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. Web Serve is intended for public and university internal data. Side share provides collaborative content editing for this environment. Second Windows hosting environment provides IIS hosting with technology such as .NET, Microsoft SQL Server and ColdFusion. Third, WCMS is a web authoring environment that provides a self-service toolkit known as IU framework. This toolkit helps when producing IU branded accessible and responsive websites. Web Help is a cost recovery team of web and application developers. The team's services include website and web form development, content migration to WCMS, Word Press and Drupal site development, custom applications in C Sharp, ASP.NET and PHP, database integration and code review in consultation.
