Institutions
are often searching for ways to better target faculty development and improve
insight into faculty practices. In this webinar, FSSE staff will discuss how
to use your demographic data to explore how faculty characteristics influence
things like effective teaching practices, engagement in high-impact
practices, and time spent in and out of the classroom. We will begin with an
overview of the FSSE instrument and the demographic information we collect,
then show attendees how to use demographics in their own campus-level
research, discuss limitations on these types of analyses, and take questions
from participants. Although we will use FSSE examples in this webinar, the
techniques we will discuss can easily apply to NSSE data as well. When you
