Advanced Topics in Deep Learning (November 14, 2024)

This workshop is a follow-up for IU faculty, staff, and students to Intro to Deep Learning on the Big Red Supercomputer taught by UITS Research Technologies (RT). Attendees will take a deeper dive into some problems that can be addressed with Deep Learning on Big Red 200.

These topics include multi-GPU neural net training, custom GPU programming, and and fine-tuning a large language model (LLM). These specific topics will illustrate general techniques that are widely applicable. No prior knowledge of these techniques is assumed.
