IU East Student Events and Activities Center Dedication Ceremony

Designed by MSKTD & Associates, the 17,759-square-foot Indiana University East Student Events and Activities Center will promote student success through a comprehensive offering of programs in health and wellness, physical education, athletics, student activities, and special events. At the November 11, 2014, groundbreaking ceremony for this facility—the fifth building on the IU East campus—President Michael A. McRobbie said that the Student Events and Activities Center will embody the spirit of exploration and adventure that is at the heart of a first-rate college education.

In October 2012, IU East began raising funds for the project through a public campaign titled Bold Aspirations. Nearly $2 million raised by that campaign has been supplemented with $3 million from university savings and efficiencies.
