Support Center Tier 2 is an extension of the UITS support center and is dedicated to providing technical support to IU IT professionals and others. Tier 2 is split into five teams providing expert service in the following core areas. Accounts administration, supporting central service account creation, passphrase reset, duo accounts and other central account management issues. Crimson card, supporting Crimson card systems, creating Crimson cards, and managing Crimson cash, payroll advance and more. Regional locations are not part of tier 2. Desktop/Server/Mobility, DSM, supporting IT professionals with technical questions about Exchange, Office 365, desktop applications, mobile devices, SharePoint and more, also serves as the primary contact for Microsoft Premier support tickets. SIS, supporting SIS systems include the E-app, academic advising and financial aid applications among others. And Web Services Support, WSS, supporting central web services and related systems as well as duo integrations, Shibboleth, and the IU web framework.
