Clark will discussed how he sculpts with light, using neon, fluorescent, incandescent, argon lights, and electroluminescent wire, as well as his works currently on display in "Illumination: The Sculpture of James O. Clark."

ABOUT THE ARTIST
James O. Clark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974 from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.
He has exhibited at institutions such as the Morris Museum in New Jersey, the Sideshow Gallery in Chicago, and the New Museum in New York, among others.
Clark has also earned awards and honoraria from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. He is a member of the American Abstract Artists and was nominated by Lisa Phillips, director of the New Museum, for Who's Who in America in 2004. Clark currently resides and works in Brooklyn, New York, and is a professor at New York City's School of Visual Arts.
