The "Stories from IU Special Collections" speaker series seeks to highlight the use of special collections across the IU Bloomington campus. In "Revealing Forgotten Art Histories: Provenance Research at the Eskenazi Museum of Art," Jenny McComas, Curator of European and American Art at the EMA, discusses how archival materials play an important role in the museum's Nazi-Era Provenance Research Project. This project has revealed numerous insights into the forgotten - and previously undocumented - histories of European paintings and sculptures in the museum's collections.
