Despite the physical distances between students in an online class, more and more tools allow creating a ‘classroom’ atmosphere through synchronous web-conferencing. In “Webinars and Webcasts,” Dr. Bonk present some of these tools and potential application in an online class, i.e. inviting guest speakers, enabling student collaboration, and creating a social presence.
