In this segment, Dr. Elee Wood, from the Museum Studies Program discusses offers guidance on working with your unit level review committee as you prepare for tenure, promotion and advancement with public and community engaged scholarship as elements of your core work This segment was produced as part of a larger workshop called "Getting to Yes! Essential Documentation Strategies for Early Career Faculty Teaching and Researching with Communities."
The session offered guidance based on existing theory and research related to public scholarship (Mary Price) as well as provide case examples from across the faculty life course, including that of an assistant professor (Pam Napier), associate and full professor, and unit (Elee Wood), school and campus level review committee member perspectives (Katie Stanton-Nichols).
