This video podcast focuses on synchronous or real-time communication and collaboration. General guidelines for hosting web conferences, synchronous tools, and insights of instructor and student experiences are discussed. We introduce Adobe Connect (formerly Macromedia Breeze), a tool supported by IU, that provides a virtual classroom environment for sharing presentations, images, and your desktop, and a host of other features including: digital whiteboard, text chat, polling, and audio/video.
