A diverse and inclusive workplace benefits everyone. Unconscious bias can create a negative effect on recruiting and retaining great employees. This session focuses on a variety of topics that will help IT at IU become more inclusive and an even better place to work. Topics include developing an inclusive IT language, supporting transgender and non-binary coworkers, building an inclusive environment for caregivers, and an open dialog on improving diversity, equity and inclusion in IT. The discussion and information from this preconference session will be summarized in a breakout session of the main conference.
