This session focused on Turnitin.com and plagiarism prevention. Turnitin.com is a web-based plagiarism detection service that IU Bloomington subscribes to. The tool can help serve as a deterrent to prevent plagiarism, but it can also serve as an educational tool for students to learn how to cite works properly.Madeleine Gonin,Instructional Technologies Consultant at TLTC provided an excellent demonstration and best practices for using the tool.
