This is a recording of a live info session conducted on October 19, 2022.

There are various paths one can take to permanent residence (PR/green card). This session provided guidance to IUPUI employees and their departments regarding university-sponsored, employment-based options to obtain PR. Employment-based routes including EB2 PERM labor certification and National Interest Waivers (NIW), as well as the EB1 Outstanding Researcher/Professor category were be discussed. Current IUPUI F-1 students were also invited to learn more about these general processes.

Frank Martinez from the Office of the Vice President & General Counsel from IUPUI and Joanna Snyder from the Office of International Services at IU-Bloomington led the presentation and addressed questions.

The first hour of the session was a presentation of information, and the final 30 minutes was reserved for questions.
