Diversity, equity, and inclusion in IT at IU, Session 1- Words matter: Inclusive language in IT

This is the first session in the Diversity, equity, and inclusion in IT at IU preconference afternoon, " Words Matter: Inclusive Language in IT". The IT professional language includes certain words and phrases that carry bias or negative connotations. The presentation will strengthen awareness of non-inclusive terms, alternatives for them, and general tips for creating a more inclusive professional language.
