The 2021 Health Law Conference discussed how to ensure that our older adults age with the dignity they deserve. A keynote address by Tara Sklar discussed what long-term care facilities must change in order to provide a more resilient long-term care system, especially in light of the disastrous toll the COVID-19 pandemic took on older adults in long-term care facilities. A panel of interdisciplinary practitioners then highlighted key areas of law and policy affecting older adults that are ripe for change.
