Dr. Roy Tamashiro is a Professor Emeritus a Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. He has spoken and published widely on peace pilgrimages, societal healing, transformative learning, and witness testimonies of Hiroshima and  other war trauma survivors. In 2015 he received a "call to pilgrimage" to mark the 70th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima.
