Stretching IU’s capabilities with Elasticsearch

Elasticsearch is a distributed, RESTful search and analytics engine capable of addressing a wide variety of use cases. At the heart of the Elastic Stack, it centrally stores your data for lightning-fast search, fine‑tuned relevancy, and powerful analytics that scale with ease. This session includes an overview from Elastic to describe the platform’s features and uses. UITS staff will also dive into diverse areas using Elastic here at IU, including supporting key security policies, managing networks, and improving academic advising.
