The Basics of Private Sponsorship: Key Components and Required Groundwork
Robyn Gibboney, Ph.D., GPC, will lead the workshop activities and discussions throughout the day. She will open with an introductory presentation on the basics of private fundraising, including the overall landscape, the types of private funding, myths surrounding fundraising, and how to write a proposal that aligns projects with funding organization’s priorities.
Small Group Activity: In small groups, participants start drafting a needs statement that addresses the mission of the foundation/program/project and how does this meet the need of the community.
